About Dr. Vicki Van Roy

Dr. Vicki Van Roy trained at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in biology. She trained for her medical degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and graduated with the highest distinction in 1989. She completed her internal medicine internship at the University of Colorado in Health Sciences and completed her dermatology residency at the University of Minnesota. After residency, Dr. Van Roy accepted a position with the HealthPartners & Park Nicollet health system in Minnesota and stayed with this large multi-specialty clinic for almost 30 years. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Dermatology, and a member of the American Academy of Dermatology.

In 2021 Dr. Van Roy returned to Omaha to be near many relatives and friends, including her parents and sister. After a short retirement, she realized she missed practicing medicine and was thrilled to join her exceptional colleagues at MOD Dermatology. In her spare time Dr. Van Roy loves to travel back to Minnesota to see her daughters and friends. She loves being with her extended family here in Omaha. She has an incorrigible berne-doodle that takes up far too much of her time, but she has no regrets about adding her to the family! She enjoys her patients, painting, cooking, grabbing dinner with friends and is very happy to be back in the great state of Nebraska.
