WHAT IS ROSACEA?

WHAT ARE THE SUBTYPES OF ROSACEA?

- Papulopustular (Acne): A subtype in which its symptoms are similar to that of acne breakouts

WHAT CAUSES ROSACEA?
The exact cause of rosacea is still unknown, but it is thought to be caused due to several factors including an overactive immune system, genetics, and environmental factors. The demographics of those more likely to experience rosacea include:

- Fair-skinned
- Of Celtic or Scandinavian descent
- Family history of rosacea
