Benefits of Massage Treatments

The deep relaxation and calmness that massage therapy gives patients prompts the release of endorphins, lowers stress hormone levels, and even improves immune function. Overall, massage boosts physical and mental wellness through:

  • Improved circulation
  • Reduced muscle tension
  • Increased joint mobility
  • Better recovery of soft tissue injuries
  • Reduction of stress hormones
  • Decreased anxiety and depression

Swedish Massage (60 or 90 minutes)

Swedish massage is a gentle tissue massage. Swedish massage aids in relaxation and tension relief. This treatment lowers blood pressure, boosts immunity, also helps reduce inflammation. The perfect choice for anyone needing an hour of pure. calming. bliss.

Deep Tissue (60 or 90 minutes)

Deep tissue massage is a deeper more intense therapy.  It’s intended to work away soreness, adhesions, and knots. This technique uses slow, deep guided strokes and firm pressure designed to relieve severe tension and reach below the superficial muscles. It’s what we call “a good hurt” that’ll make you leave feeling like a new human.

Cupping Therapy (Add on-$25)

Cupping therapy is a form of alternative medicine in which a local suction is created on the skin with the application of cups.

Cupping practitioners attempt to use cupping therapy for a wide array of medical conditions including fevers, chronic low back pain, high blood pressure, acne, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, anemia, stroke rehabilitation, nasal congestion, infertility, and menstrual period cramping.

Hot Stone Massage (60 or 90 minutes)

Melt into the table with this treatment. Heated basalt(volcanic) stones are used to be able to go deeper into the muscles without injuring the tissue.  This therapy is extremely beneficial for patients who have arthritis, neuropathy, fibromyalgia, or anyone who needs a very deep relaxation.

Fire and Ice Massage (60 or 90 minutes)

Two words: MUSCLE. RECOVERY.

The principle for this treatment is that the cold makes blood vessels constrict, stimulating the nervous system and drawing out blood and toxins, while the warmth expands the blood vessels and flushes the toxins away.

Aromatherapy Wrap (90 minutes)

Indulge in a detoxifying aromatherapy wrap which begins with full body dry brushing, followed by application of aromatherapy oils, then wrapped into a comfortable cocoon of warm towels and blankets.

This luxurious cocoon promotes detoxification through sweating as well as calming muscle tension and spasms all the while sedating the central nervous system.

This treatment is a wonderful precursor to massage due to its soothing effect on the mind and body. It can also aid in flushing toxins out of the body after illness.

Reflexology (60 minutes)

Reflexology, is an alternative medical practice involving the application of pressure to specific points on the feet! In this treatment, you will receive an amazing revival of the feet, and leave feeling rejuvenated!

Himalayan Salt Stone Massage (60 or 90 minutes)

This style of massage involves the use of salt stones to help manipulate the muscles. It is similar to the better-known hot stone massage. The stones made from Himalayan salt are heated and used to manipulate the muscles in the body. The salt absorbs into the body, and you can derive healing benefits from it!

*Its grounding properties help to improve sleep and balance the Central Nervous System. Himalayan Salt Stone Massage supports Electromagnetic Overload from electronic devices. Additionally:

  • Promotes healthy blood sugar levels
  • Works to reduce blood pressure levels
  • Improves circulation
  • Reduces anxiety and insomnia
  • Supports the respiratory system
  • Provides gentle skin exfoliation
